Jota Rosa Gets Deep in His Feelings on ‘Como Ñengo’ With Feid and Kris Floyd

1 min read

Tainy, the superproducer, published Club Dieciseis in 2020, a sharp compilation consisting of forward-thinking reggaeton experimentation.

Another artist is now continuing where he left off: Jota Rosa, a triple threat who writes, produces, and performs, is preparing to release Club Dieciseis 2, the follow-up to Tainy’s original project as well as his solo debut album.

The first track is “Como engo,” which features Feid and Kris Floyd and demonstrates his ability to create futuristic, downtempo sounds.

On the heartbreak-filled track, the lads dig deep in their feelings, with a few old-school reggaeton flourishes thrown in for good measure.

Nonetheless, it demonstrates Jota Rosa borrowing from the past and present while putting his own flavor to the music. Deathofgian directed the film, in which the artists squeeze a skating ramp into a house and reminisce about an old relationship.

Jota Rosa has recently co-produced many tracks on Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti, including “Party,” which features Rauw Alejandro, and “Tarot,” which features Jhay Cortez. Club Dieciseis 2 is set to be released later this fall.
