Johnny Depp Was Seen Performing At Sheffield City Hall

Despite the fact that Johnny Depp’s defamation trial is coming to a close, he remained in the spotlight this weekend.

At a concert at Sheffield City Hall in Sheffield, England, the actor and musician played guitar alongside his long-time buddy Jeff Beck.

“Well…what a surprise we received last night when Johnny Depp joined @jeffbeckmusic on stage,” the venue said in a tweet that included video of the two performing together. “Wishing @jeffbeckmusic much success on his incredible tour, and a huge thank you to Johnny Depp for joining us!”

Depp is no stranger to the world of music. In 2012, he founded the supergroup Hollywood Vampires with musicians Alice Cooper and Joe Perry.

On Friday, the jury in his defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard began deliberations.

Depp sued Heard over a Washington Post op-ed in which she portrayed herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse” in 2018. Despite the fact that Depp was not identified in the piece, he alleges it harmed his reputation and caused him to lose work.

Heard has filed a $100 million counterclaim.
