Despite the rumors pointing toward Shakira, it seems that Karol G’s next collaboration will be with none other than Bachata King Romeo Santos. Both artists have confirmed the release of a new single called “X Si Volvemos,” which is a song about having a one last fling before breaking up.
Santos published a video on his social networks in which he listens to the first part of “X Si Volvemos.” “It didn’t work out between us. We gave it our all, but it didn’t hold. That’s why we’re leaving, but before we leave, we’re going to do it for the last time, baby,” sings Karol G in the preview.
The Colombian commented on the post with what we assume to be another verse of the song: “Los bellaqueos no se olvidan.” The phrase was posted in response to the caption that reads: “Nuestro amor ta´ jodio, pero que sensación cuando en la cama se acaban los lío 👿.” (Our love is screwed up/ but what a feeling/ when in bed the troubles end.”
Karol G also shared a series of selfies on a bubblegum pink background that fully immerses us in the colorful universe that she wants to convey with this next project.
“X Si Volvemos” comes off Karol G’s upcoming album Mañana Será Bonito. Last year, she scored global hits with “Provenza” and “Gatúbela,” featuring Maldy. The Colombian had last released “Cairo” with Ovy On The Drums.
