After a one month break, Maluma returns with a hot new single together with his friend and former collaborator Marc Anthony. The Colombian singer-songwriter shares “La Fórmula,” reuniting with the three-time Grammy Award winner to the rhythm of salsa. The track comes with an accompanying music video, featuring both artists in a recording studio.

Delivering the best of the Afro-Caribbean Salsa rhythms, the Colombian and the Puerto Rican at heart have already managed to earn more than a million views in a single day. The black and white visuals show the harmony that exists between the two. They laugh and celebrate in the recording studio, which is where all the magic happens.
“La Fórmula” introduces Maluma’s new musical persona Don Juan. He had first announced it on his social networks with the caption, “Undoubtedly without you guys, I wouldn’t be who I am, but I have made up my mind. It’s time to say goodbye forever to Papi Juancho. Don Juan is here.”
Maluma and Marc Anthony had previously worked together on 2017’s Salsa remix of “Felices los 4,” which was produced by RudeBoyz and written by Servando Primera, Mario Cáceres, and Miky La Sensa. “La Fórmula” will most probably be enlisted on the follow-up album to Maluma’s Papi Juancho, released in 2020.
