Compton’s versatile DJ and rapper, Channel Tres, sets the stage for his upcoming 2024 project with the release of the funky single “Walked In The Room,” accompanied by a visually captivating music video. Directed by Aris Chatman, the video showcases Tres’ smooth dance moves against the backdrop of Los Angeles’ vibrant Little Tokyo. The upbeat track, anchored by house-driven production, complements Tres’ cool vocals as he shares his laid-back perspective on life.

“Walked In The Room” serves as the lead single from Channel Tres’ highly anticipated 2024 project, following his February EP, Real Cultural Sh*t, which marked his first major-label release. The EP featured hit singles such as Just Can’t Get Enough,” “No Limit,and 6am.”

Throughout the year, Channel Tres expanded his musical footprint through collaborations, introducing his unique “Compton House” take on dance music to new audiences. Notable partnerships include “Fever Dreamer” with UK producer SG Lewis and Charlotte Day Wilson, and “Chucks,” a groovy collaboration with West Coast native Terrace Martin, paying homage to the iconic footwear of Los Angeles.
