Emerging singer, songwriter, and producer Charlotte Day Wilson has returned with a captivating new single titled “Forever,” featuring the collaboration of Snoh Aalegra.
In this enduringly beautiful track, both artists acknowledge the inevitable passage of time that can lead to growing apart from their respective lovers.
Wilson expresses in her verse, “Friends say / I’m the girl that’s / All the time in the world wouldn’t be enough / And I’m bein’ patient to the point that / There’s no promise you can make / To keep a hold of us.”

Aalegra responds in her verse, singing, “Tell me can I ever believe you? / Tell me? / ‘Cause you change your mind whenever I need you, baby.”
“Forever” marks Wilson’s official return since the release of her debut album, ALPHA, in 2021. The album featured notable collaborations with artists like Babyface, Syd, Daniel Caesar, and more.
Since her album release, Wilson has been engaged as a producer on Maeta’s recent project, When I Hear Your Name. She co-produced the opening track “Sexual Love” with DJ Dahi.
Wilson is scheduled to perform in Toronto as part of Daniel Caesar’s Superpowers World Tour Leg 2: U.S. & Canada in October. She also has two solo shows in London this month, one of which is already sold out.
Snoh Aalegra, on the other hand, continues to make her mark with recent songs like “Wait A Little Longer,” “Sweet Tea,” and “Be My Summer.” Her album ‘Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies,’ released in July 2021, showcased collaborations with Tyler, the Creator and James Fauntleroy.
