Argentine Trap Stars Bizarrap and Duki have gone viral with their recent single “Music Sessions #50.” The track which is about the rapper’s origins, his rise to fame, and his former group, Modo Diablo, has been trending ever since its release, surpassing 11 million views on YouTube alone.
Fans of both have been waiting for this single since the 2021 Copa América final when Duki announced “If Argentina wins, we’ll do the Bizarrap Session.” It is not the first time that the Argentine rapper has joined forces with Bizarrap. Both artists have previously collaborated on songs like “Malbec,” “Unfollow” with Justin Quiles, and “Sin Frenos” with Eladio Carrión.
The lyrics were written by Duki and the main premise of “Music Sessions #50” was set by the record producer Bizarrap. The leader of the Latin Trap movement in Argentina raps about his humble origins and the dark side of fame, “Drops inside my glass, I feel that everyone judges me when I take a step, they speak as if they don’t know failure, many give up, but that’s not the case.”
“Music Sessions #50” comes with visuals that follow the same structure as Bizarrap’s previous videos of the same series. It shows Duki with headphones and in front of a microphone recording the song in a studio with BZRP.
The two Argentines unite to defend their “barrio.” “My people are humble, they know about family, they will not deny you a plate of food… I fulfilled my mission as a rapper, I bought mom the house she wanted,” recites Duki, talking about his journey from the bottom to stardom.
