Alfred & Miki Nuñez Announce New Collaboration: “Electricitat”

1 min read

Young Catalan stars, Alfred and Miki Núñez have revealed that they will be releasing a new collaborative single together called “Electricitat.” It’s no surprise for these two to get together as they have a common ground to build on: Both became famous in Operación Triunfo, both are from Catalonia, and both represented Spain in Eurovision.

Alfred says that he first wrote the song for Miki, but after a productive session in the studio, they decided to do a duet, “We met one day in a studio in Madrid and I showed Miki, @fernandoboix, and @alexperez_music a song that I was working on and that I wanted him to sing.”

“It suited him so much that we finished it off that same afternoon and, to my surprise, he asked me to sing it as a duet with him,” explains Alfred via his social media platforms. Núñez on the other hand doesn’t fail to express his admiration and gives a shout out to the songwriter, “Alfred, you are a great genius. But, above all, you’re a great friend and a great person.”

Alfred and Miki first met at the @eurovisiontve Gala of @operaciontriunfo in 2018.  The two have stayed in touch ever since. And now years later, they will finally be releasing a track together. “Electricitat” is from Núñez’s third studio album and will come out next week on November 25th.
