Premiere: Ky Richy On A Hot Streak Launches New Visuals For “Matador” FT Tyler Lovoe

1 min read

After the LP No Sad Faces and the music video for its flagship track “Got Me,” Ky Richy returns in full-force with brand new visuals for his 2021 single titled “Matador,” featuring Tyler Lovoe.

“Matador” is produced by Bapsxx, mixed by Pete Space, and mastered by Omina Labs, and the music video is directed by Keith Avila, shot by El D LA CAMARA, produced by Eldla Mochila, and edited by Tyler Lovoe.

The California-native indie hip-hop artist is clearly on a hot streak this year, dropping hits back to back. Earlier this month, Ky Richy unveiled a fantastic music video shot in a paradisiac location for his song “Got Me,” featuring YungXO, a track off his new album No Sad Faces.

In a totally different fashion and vibe, the music video for “Matador,” is most certainly the result of thinking outside the box, a wonderwork shot at a ranch with bulls, goats, and the rappers wearing the appropriate clothes that such a setting requires.

Richy is known for merging genres exquisitely, including hip-hop, r&b, pop-rock, and indie, a sophisticated combination giving birth to a swag and soothing listening experience.

Prior to No Sad Faces, Ky Richy’s discography consisted of 3 LPs and multiple singles, including Pink Cloud, Switchblades and Roses, and Summer Nights After Quarantine. The single “Feeling My Vibe” exponentially increased Ky’s popularity in the game, with over 700K plays and a prime spot in the Shazam Top 50 chart in California and the Bahamas.
