Doja Cat announced on Instagram that she will have tonsil surgery and will have to cancel her tour dates with The Weeknd as well as her summer festival appearances.
Doja Cat revealed that she needed tonsil surgery due to an abscess caused by excessive vaping less than a week after winning Top R&B Album at the Billboard Music Awards. The 26-year-old artist went on to admit that, despite being on antibiotics, she vaped and drank wine, which resulted in tonsil growth.
Doja Cat has already had tonsil surgery in the last week, but she will need another after the growth appeared from continued vapor exposure. She described her vaping addiction, saying she wants to quit cold turkey.

nah so my tonsils got infected before bbmas and i was taking fuckin antibiotics but forgot that i was taking them and then i drank wine and was vaping all day long and then i started getting a nasty ass growth on my tonsil so they had to do surgery on it today.
