For the first time in 23 years, the 2023 Latin Grammys will take place outside of the United States. In a recent press conference, the Latin Recording Academy announced that a new agreement has been sealed with the government of AndalucĂa. Among other things, this new deal is to bring the 2023 Latin Grammys to the Spanish province.
President of the Regional Government of AndalucĂa, Juanma Moreno shared via his social media that the new agreement is a historic event for the autonomous community and its culture. âOur land will host different events until 2025, including the awards ceremony. We estimate an economic impact close to âŹ500M,â writes the president.

In addition to the Latin Grammys, several other events will be held in Spain over the next three years, including Latin Grammy Week, Acoustic Sessions, and âphilanthropic activitiesâ on behalf of the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation. Although the exact site hasnât been confirmed yet, it is assumed that the prestigious event will take place in the capital of the province.
Latin Recording Academy CEO Manuel Abud revealed, âWe are considering Sevilla to celebrate the 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards this November, but we are still working through the logistics with our partners TelevisaUnivision. We will share additional details about the date and location of the next Latin Grammys soon.â
Last year, two Spanish artists took home awards during the ceremony held in Las Vegas. C. Tangana won Record and Song of the Year for his collaboration with Jorge Drexler, âTocarte,â and RosalĂa won Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album for Motomami.
