With the release of Cupido, her fourth studio album (and her first with Sony Music), TINI is more open and frank than ever. “I think that at some point in my life, ‘Cupido’ as an album represents a moment in my life,” the Argentinian singer-songwriter and actress tells Billboard. “The closing of a great stage, of great moments that I lived, and it’s also a new beginning to my career.”
The musician and her writing team collaborated on the 14-track collection, which is full of passionate and relevant lyrics. It also features her trademark urban pop rhythms blended with cumbia and techno sounds. There are also a few previously released songs on it, including “Muecas” (Dolls), which features La Joaqui and Steve Aoki, “Mienteme” (Lie to me), which features Mara Becerra, “La Loto,” which features Anitta and Becky G, “Maldita Foto,” which features Manuel Turizo, and her viral hit “La Triple T,” to name a few.
Despite its musical aspect, Cupido acts as a personal reflection and encapsulates the most intense emotions that TINI has experienced lately.
