At 8 p.m. ET, the program will be shown live on Univision and also be accessible on HBO MAX.
Excellence in Latin music will be recognized by the Latin Recording Academy. The 23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards candidates include a wide spectrum of musicians who released songs during the eligibility period and were chosen from more than 18,000 entries in 53 categories (June 1, 2021, through May 31, 2022).
All songs up for nominations must be brand-new and include at least 51% of their lyrics in one of the local indigenous languages, Portuguese, Spanish, or both.
āAt The Latin Recording Academy, we continually strive to support and encourage Latin music creators, and these nominees epitomize musical excellence and represent the great momentum that our music is currently experiencing,ā said Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy.
