Cardi B’s current single “Hot Shit,” which includes Kanye West and Lil Durk, was released earlier this month, and the Bronx rapper is back with a new video for the song. Cardi may be seen going up the side of a building and appearing atop a skyline in the video. Durk and Kanye are also featured in the video.
Cardi B’s first solo song since 2021, when she dropped “Bet It,” is “Hot Shit.” Following the release of the track, Cardi collaborated with Summer Walker and SZA on “No Love (Extended Version).” She’s also continued to collaborate with musicians like Lizzo (“Rumors”), Migos (“Type Shit”), and Normani (“Wild Side”), among others. Invasion of Privacy, her debut album, was released in 2018.
In the run-up to the 2020 U.S. presidential election, Cardi B gave birth to her second child with Migos rapper Offset in 2021 and interviewed Joe Biden. In 2022, she met with the mayor’s office in New York City and promised to assist cover burial fees for individuals who died in the tragic January 9 Bronx apartment fire.
