We’ve Been Doing Everything Wrong was released in early May, a month after the singer-songwriter announced the project. Van Etten did not reveal any singles from her sixth studio album before its release, but she did share a video for “Mistakes” shortly afterwards. The album omitted two songs by Van Etten that were released in early 2022: “Porta” and “Used to It.”
Van Etten celebrated the tenth anniversary of her debut album Epic Ten with the single “Like I Used To” last year.
