Two-time BRIT Award winner Becky Hill returns today with a powerful new single, “Outside Of Love,” further fueling excitement for her forthcoming album Believe Me Now? due out May 31st via Astralwerks.
Co-written with Italian production duo PARISI (known for their work with Fred again.. and Swedish House Mafia), “Outside Of Love” follows a string of successful singles for Hill. These include the Platinum-certified D&B anthem “Disconnect” (featuring Chase & Status), the Top 10 hit “Side Effects” (with Lewis Thompson), and the #1 US dance radio airplay smash “Never Be Alone” (with Sonny Fodera).
The song opens with a stirring vocal line from Hill, setting the stage for a passionate, lovelorn narrative. Her voice builds the drama before a pulsating drop sends the tempo soaring. “Outside Of Love” showcases Hill’s signature sound – dancefloor-ready electronica with an underground edge, infused with mainstream pop appeal.
“I’m so proud to present my latest single ‘Outside Of Love,'” says Hill. “This song is a big anthemic dance ballad with fresh underground production and is one of the stand out moments of the new album. I co-wrote it with my longtime collaborators Mike Kintish and Charlotte Haining, alongside producers Parisi. I really hope people connect to this frustrated and isolated love song, but still feel like they can dance their way through the shared sadness.”
The accompanying music video elevates Becky Hill to superstar status. Featuring a blend of high fashion against breathtaking natural landscapes – waterfalls, tranquil pools of water, and nighttime spotlights – the video’s stunning cinematography reflects the feeling of being “outside of love.”
Hill is also gearing up for a massive year of touring. Following her upcoming European headline shows, she has numerous major outdoor shows and festivals lined up, including headline sets at Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Parklife. This all leads to a U.K. headline arena tour culminating in a finale at OVO Arena Wembley on October 24th.
