R&B artist Layton Greene has gifted her fans with a heartfelt treat before the year concludes—her latest song, “Cinderella Story,” produced by G Styles on the Track.
The piano-driven track showcases Greene’s desires in a future lover. In the first verse, she sings, “I ain’t lookin’ for the perfect dude / I don’t need you to know everything, it’s way too hard to / All I need is a man who got some patience in him / Takes time to understand me, even when he don’t get it.”
Expressing her excitement about the release, Greene states, “My supporters have literally been begging for ‘Cinderella Story’! I’m so happy the time is here. It’s been a long time coming, but I feel it’s the perfect time, and I’m so excited to see how everyone will receive it!”
This track marks Greene’s third release of the year. Her musical return began in April with “Spin Again,” followed by “Something” in October, both set to feature on her upcoming project scheduled for 2024 via Quality Control Music/Motown Records. These releases follow her debut EP, Tell Ya Story.
