The talented R&B artist, Arin Ray, has some exciting news for fans as he announces his upcoming project, Phases III, scheduled to be released on October 20 via Interscope Records. This EP marks the third installment of his Phases series, which he started back in 2016. In 2019, he returned with Phases II, featuring the hit track “Change,” a collaboration with Kehlani.
Arin Ray’s Phases III is described as his most mature and playful release yet, promising an exciting musical journey for listeners. The project boasts songs co-written and produced by industry heavyweights Tricky Stewart and James Fauntleroy.
To accompany this exciting announcement, Arin Ray has dropped a brand new song, “Wait So Long,” produced by Tricky Stewart himself. In this heartfelt track, Arin Ray croons about love and questions his partner about the delay in expressing their feelings.
“I love you anyway / But why would you wait so long / To say what you want / What you need,” sings Arin Ray in the soulful chorus.
“Wait So Long” serves as Arin Ray’s first official single since the release of his sophomore album, Hello Poison, in 2022. This album featured notable collaborations with artists like Brandy, Ty Dolla $ign, Ari Lennox, VanJess, Terrace Martin, D Smoke, and more.
To celebrate the release of Phases III, Arin Ray will be hitting the road on his Phases Tour, starting on October 25 in Vancouver, British Columbia. He will be making stops in major North American cities, including Seattle, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Washington, D.C., and New York. The ‘Phases Tour’ will conclude on November 28 in Los Angeles, California.
