Fans of Karol G, rejoice! The name of the Colombian star’s planned new album, expected to be released “soon,” was announced on Wednesday, January 25.
“Finally, finally,” she wrote on social media. “Today I announce a project that I’ve dedicated so much love and time to. I just know that for me and for everyone else, Mañana Será Bonito (Tomorrow Will Be Pretty).”
Karol G may be seen driving in Medelln when a little message with the words “If you’re sad, call me” appears on the windshield. When she calls, a child answers and offers her opportunities such as singing at a concert, writing a letter to Santa Claus, or even recording her own version of the popular song “La Jeepeta.”
“But señorita, the important thing is that mañana será bonito,” he reassures her at the end of the call.
The title of her much-awaited fourth studio album is Maana Será Bonito. It will come after her KG0516, which gave Karol her first No. 1 ranking on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums and was nominated for a 2021 Grammy. The collection had the best week for a Latin album by a woman since El Dorado by Shakira in 2017.
The singer of “Provenza” most recently earned the top place on Billboard’s Top Latin Artists – Female list for the fourth year in a row. She was the only female performer in the top 10 and was No. 2 on the overall Top Latin Artists list. Additionally, Karol G’s $trip Love Tour set a record for the highest-earning U.S. tour by a Latin female performer.
According to data provided to Billboard Boxscore, it made $69.9 million and sold 410,000 tickets across 33 concerts in North America.
