Cuban songwriting duo Beangel announces the release of a new album Mimi Is Love. The group is formed by the Sony Music Publishing songwriter Beatriz Cesar and the internationally recognized producer Angel Pututi.
Known for their collaborations with artists like Marc Anthony and Gente De Zona, the Latin American artists come together with A-list artists for the brand-new record as well. Mimi Is Love includes contributions from Alexander Delgado, Randy Malcom (Gente de Zona), Leoni Torres, Lenier, Descemer Bueno, among others.
Beangel premiered the album in Miami and it includes 16 songs. Cesar and Pututi said that the LP “offers a fusion of Latin pop incorporating elements of other genres such as reggaeton, without losing the concept of the essence of Beangel in lyrics and melodies.”
Both artists of Beangel were nominated last year for the Latin Grammy Awards, for being credited as composers for Marc Anthony’s winning album Opus in the Best Tropical Latin Album category.
