Mikayla McLean is a Schenectady, New York-based singer/songwriter. She is influenced by musicians such as Stevie Nicks, Amy Winehouse, Miley Cyrus, and Hayley Williams. Mikayla now resides in Los Angeles, California, where she is pursuing a Masters in Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Chapman University, with an emphasis on nonfiction and memoir. In both her prose and her music, she writes about grief, abandonment, suffering, and mental diseases.
