Initially intended for the year 2020, Dubai will host the very first international exposition that takes place in the Middle East starting October 1st of this year. As you probably could tell, it was delayed for an entire year as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The fair cost around six billion dollars and the construction took eight years to complete as the entire building was built from scratch and specially designed for this very event.

The previous one was held in 2015 in Milan, Italy. The United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) government is hoping for more visits – more than twenty five million, to be precise. Keep in mind that this is equivalent to more than twice the population of the country itself.
All in all, it is safe to say that expectations are super high and people of all ages and from different backgrounds are waiting to see what will be unveiled there.
