Can you discuss the significance of the title “MPO” and how it relates to the broader themes and message of the song?
“MPO” is just an abbreviation for Might Pop Out; it basically means it’s whatever the play is open.
How does “MPO” represent a continuation or evolution of your sound and lyrical themes from your previous releases?
“MPO” is all about good vibes and great energy, growth in a positive state of mind, and great times.
Looking ahead, do you see “MPO” as a standalone statement or part of a larger musical project?
Everything is a standalone statement but also part of the larger scheme of things. Life is a revolving door, so I just go with the motion of things in the moment and let the moments create life.
What message or takeaway do you hope listeners will have after experiencing “MPO,” and what do you want them to remember about your music?
I just want listeners to enjoy the energy and let it serve a purpose with whatever they feel or need to feel.
How important is your fan base to you, and how do you engage with them? Can you share a memorable fan interaction or experience?
My fan base is extremely Important. Beingable to share my story and have those moments with my fans gives me life. I’m always grateful. Hahaha, one of my most memorable interactions would be receiving pants after a set Hahahaha, those are things you see in movies. I’ll never forget it.
Who are your biggest musical influences, and how have they shaped your style and approach to rapping?
My life plays a big part in influencing my music. As far as style, I’m a huge fan of Andre 3000, Biggie Smalls, and Teddy P, just to name a few. my style is just the embodiment of me. i just do what feels right to me in the moment.
What do you feel sets your music apart from other rappers? How would you describe the essence of your artistic identity?
My music is my life experiences honestly, music is my outlet and voice. In a way, my music is my essence, as cliche as it sounds. Life is full of ups and downs and everything in between, I just put it all into my art and let the world see. I guess that’s the difference. In a way, the world witnessed my flaws and screw-ups—the perfect imperfection of J’Moris.
What can fans expect from you in the near future? Are there any upcoming projects or collaborations you’re excited about?
The future is always open, and I’m constantly working. New music is coming soon. Stay tuned!
