Role Model has released his second album, Kansas Anymore, through Interscope Records. Unlike his 2022 debut album, Rx, which focused on themes of love, Kansas Anymore explores feelings of homesickness, heartbreak, and personal transformation. You can listen to the album now below.
Alongside the album, Role Model premiered the official video for the track “Scumbag.” The song, produced by Scott Harris, Jonah Shy, and Noah Conrad, reflects on a love that endures despite setbacks. Directed by Will DeSena, the video was shot in Role Model’s hometown of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, showcasing the everyday life and familiar scenes that shaped him.
To mark the album’s release, Role Model will perform a sold-out, intimate show at The Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA, on Tuesday, July 23. Fans who can’t attend in person can watch the performance via livestream starting at 8:30 PM PT on July 23. The livestream link is available HERE. In addition, Role Model will hold in-store signings at Looney Tunes on Long Island on July 20 and at Fingerprints in Long Beach, CA, on July 24, giving fans a chance to meet him and get their albums signed.
In September, Role Model will join Gracie Abrams as a special guest on her sold-out The Secret of Us tour. Fans can expect more touring announcements soon as Role Model continues to expand his live performances.
