Art-rockers Happy Hollows were founded by two polar opposites. Free-spirited guitarist Sarah Negahdari initially met bassist Charlie Mahoney at a Los Angeles strip mall where she was reading tarot cards. Heâd just arrived from Washington, DC, to pursue a PhD at UCLA. The two clicked as friends and years later theyâve toured across the US, Japan, Canada, and the UK and become a beloved staple of Los Angelesâ underground music scene.
