NBC’s longtime running singing competition The Voice has one of the best-selling Latina artists as their new coach; the amicable Camila Cabello. The Cuban-born American singer-songwriter will be mentoring new talents in the reality show’s latest season.
The promo mostly focuses on Camila Cabello. The “Havana” singer is showered with flowers, gifts, and balloons as a welcome gesture for being the latest addition to the show. It all takes a strange turn as she finds an anonymous note that says “You’re going to lose so bad,” with a terrifying tune playing in the background.
The “Don’t Go Yet” star has been incredibly busy this year with her Familia album, which was released in April. “Bam Bam” featuring Ed Sheeran surpassed 6 million streams worldwide. Camila also recently fired up the Stade de France during the opening ceremony of the UEFA Champions League Final.
Camila Cabello joins former coaches Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Blake Shelton in the Season 22 of The Voice that will air on September 19 .
