According to a brief description on Wikipedia, the movie is about Princess Diana’s personal life and struggles with her marriage. The movie will also serve an explanation behind Princess Diana’s split from Prince Charles in 1991.
The famous American actress and filmmaker, Kristen Stewart will portray Diana Spencer.
Not so long ago, “Spencer” was screened in the Venice Film Festival for a competition, where Stewart was present there as well.
When Stewart was interviewed with Reuters she added:
“I’m excited to bring it home … We came at this with such love. Even if everyone hated it, it kind of would be OK because we really did just put everything we had into it.”
“Spencer” is directed by the Chilean filmmaker Pablo Larrain and it’s written by Steven Knight.
