Andrés Cepeda Brings A New Deluxe Version Of ‘Bogotá’

By all accounts, Andrés Cepeda has never been one to shy away from sentiment. Yet, with Bogotá, his latest studio project now re-released in deluxe form, the Colombian singer-songwriter goes all in. He comes with a lush, heartfelt sonic tribute to the city that raised him.

Thus, originally released on April 25 via Warner Music México, “Bogotá” is more than an album. It’s an emotional map of Cepeda’s life. Through its vivid storytelling and an elegant fusion of genres, the project captures the heartbeat of Colombia’s capital. So, it becomes a true portrait of its streets, its soul, its soundtrack.

Now, Cepeda is expanding the experience with “Bogotá (Deluxe)” arriving on July 31. It brings three new tracks into the fold that deepen the musical portrait.

Andrés Cepeda Shows The Beauty of Bogota

Each of the new songs opens a fresh door into Cepeda’s world. Starting from a buoyant collaboration with Morat, “Bien” is bursting with rhythmic joy. Then it shifts to the introspective, acoustic-leaning “Imagínate,” featuring pop balladeer Luis Fonsi. Next is “Próxima Estación,” a euphoric pop-rock journey with sister duo Ha*Ash. Together, they add even more texture to an already rich tapestry of sounds.

“I wanted to dedicate an entire album to my city,” Cepeda told Billboard Colombia earlier this year.

And voice it he does with warmth, with nostalgia, and with clarity. Cepeda even highlights the city’s contradictions in sound: “Bogotá is at altitude, but it’s tropical. You hear that clash in the music: there’s pop, but also bolero; there’s rock, but also Caribbean color.”

Additionally, Cepeda is also hitting the road this fall with his “Nuestra Vida En Canciones” U.S. tour. The nine-date trek kicks off on October 28 in Chicago. He will go through major cities like Miami, New York, and Washington D.C. After that, he will wrap up on November 8 in Lynn, Massachusetts.

So, with the deluxe edition of “Bogotá,” Andrés Cepeda doesn’t just revisit his roots. He redefines them, offering fans both old and new a guided tour through the heart of a city. He also opens the soul of an artist who still finds magic in every corner.
