Alt-pop artist Maude Latour has released her latest single, “Whirlpool,” ahead of her debut album Sugar Water, dropping August 16th via Warner Records. The track follows her earlier hits “Too Slow,” “Cursed Romantics,” and “Comedown,” which have earned praise from major outlets like Rolling Stone and Billboard.
Sugar Water features 12 tracks, created with her longtime collaborator Mike Adubato and other top producers. At 24, Maude’s thoughtful lyrics and catchy cosmic-pop have won over critics and landed her at major festivals like Lollapalooza and Governors Ball.
Maude describes the album as a reflection on growing up and holding onto life’s sweetness. To celebrate, she’ll join FLETCHER on her U.S. tour next month, with stops at iconic venues like Radio City Music Hall and the Greek Theatre.
