Taylor Acorn, the pop-punk sensation, has just released her latest single, “People Watching”, along with an accompanying music video that features fan-submitted clips showcasing heartwarming moments with loved ones. You can watch the video below.
In discussing the new single, Taylor Acorn expressed her excitement: “I’ll never forget the day we wrote ‘People Watching.’ After Emma and I received the demo, we spent hours driving around, listening to it on repeat, and crying tears of joy. The song truly captures the feeling of being unapologetically in love and wearing it proudly. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t inspired by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, and the countless videos I’ve watched of them falling in love. I’m obsessed with them—what can I say?”
“People Watching” is the latest track from Taylor’s upcoming debut album, Survival in Motion, set for release on September 13th. The album includes recent singles such as “Survival in Motion”, “High Horse,” and “Greener,” which have gained support from Spotify playlists like The New Alt, New Noise, The Locker, Pop Rock, Rock Out, Pop Punk’s Not Dead, The Scene, Women of Rock, and Fierce Femmes, as well as Apple Music’s Excited, The New Rock, New in Alternative, New in Punk, and New in Rock.
Earlier this year, Taylor successfully completed her sold-out Good Enough Tour, a 24-date headline tour in the US and Australia, with US support from World’s First Cinema. She then traveled to the UK for the Slam Dunk Festival, performed a headline show at the O2 Academy in London, and made appearances at the Let’s Go! Music Festival and the Four Chord Music Festival.
Today, Taylor is making her debut at Lollapalooza and has announced a series of headline shows in September and October. The tour begins on September 5th in Tuscaloosa with a co-headline show alongside Charlotte Sands, with additional dates in Richmond, Baltimore, San Francisco, Anaheim, and more. Taylor is also scheduled to perform at the Bourbon & Beyond festival in September.
In addition to her headline shows, Taylor will be touring with Dashboard Confessional and Boys Like Girls, hitting major cities including Boston, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Chicago, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Houston.
