Post Malone has dropped his new single, “Guy For That,” featuring Luke Combs, via Mercury Records/REPUBLIC. This track sets the stage for his much-anticipated debut country album, F-1 Trillion, set to release on August 16th.
The accompanying music video, premiering at 10 AM ET, features the duo performing atop a flatbed semi-truck rolling down Broadway in Downtown Nashville. Their social media teasers of this collaboration have already racked up millions of views. This single marks the first time Post and Combs have worked together. To build up the excitement for F-1 Trillion, Post recently partnered with Bud Light for “A Night in Nashville,” where he performed songs from the upcoming album. The event was star-studded, featuring guests like Blake Shelton, HARDY, Joe Nichols, and Sierra Ferrell.
Meanwhile, Post‘s chart-topping hit “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen continues to make waves. The song debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, achieving the highest weekly sales and streams since 2020. It marks Post’s sixth and Wallen’s second #1 hit. The track has held the top spot on the Hot 100 for five straight weeks, becoming the longest-running number one song of 2024. It’s also the first single to debut at #1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, maintaining the top spot on both for three consecutive weeks. Additionally, it topped the Billboard Global 200 chart and has already garnered over 1 billion streams.
