Seasoned vocalist Keke Wyatt is back with her new song “Water Into Wine,” marking her first offering on Shanachie Entertainment.
“Water Into Wine” tells the story of a patient woman who understands her partner’s imperfections and romantic mistakes. Despite these challenges, she remains committed to the relationship as long as he shows sincere efforts to make things work between them.
This song is Wyatt‘s debut on Shanachie Entertainment, a record label she signed with in late January, announcing her plans to release a new album later in the year.
Wyatt expressed her excitement about the deal, saying, “I really feel good about signing with Shanachie! I’m excited and finally ready. I feel like this time we will create magic together and make HISTORY!“
Wyatt shared her vision for the upcoming album, which is yet to be titled. “I want to give my fans the gift of love, hope and trust with my new music. However, don’t get it twisted because I’m singing about it all. I think everyone will be able to relate to this album.“
This new album will be Wyatt’s first original release in seven years. Her previous album, Rated Love, came out in 2016 and included the single “Sexy Song.” The single reached No. 26 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
In addition to her musical endeavors, Wyatt has performed live. She is set to perform before Jagged Edge at the Dell Music Center in Philadelphia on Aug. 31 and will headline a show in Baltimore on Sept. 23.
