Rising alt-R&B sensation Casper Sage has unveiled his latest track, “Flow State,” a captivating ode to finding solace in gratitude and embracing life’s journey.
In “Flow State,” Sage’s misty falsetto croons, “I want to flow like the water and I’m running out of things to hold onto / Peace of mind, rolling with the tide / Hope we’ll be fine,” accompanied by an alluring bass instrumentation that adds depth to the soulful composition.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the song, Sage shares, “It’s a song about getting exhausted of constantly wishing for more out of life. I just want to remain loving and accepting of life as it is, and grow along the way.” This latest release comes after his well-received independent EP, Pseudo, which featured the tracks “Spinnin‘,” “FML,” and “Pseudo.”
Notably, “Spinnin'” served as the lead single, showcasing Sage‘s frustration with attempting to make changes in life, only to find himself back where he started. With heartfelt authenticity, he bares his emotions through his soul-stirring lyrics.
As of now, it remains uncertain if “Flow State” stands as a standalone track or if it foreshadows a future project from the 21-year-old artist.

Prior to these releases, the artist presented his debut project, Winter, back in 2019, featuring a blend of hip-hop-flavored tracks.
