Gorgon City Remix John Summit and Hayla’s “Where You Are”

“Gorgon City”, the electronic music production duo from North London, have released a remix of John Summit and Hayla‘s hit single “Where You Are”. The remix adds a darker and deeper twist to the original track, which was a catchy and upbeat house anthem.

The remix starts with a thumping bassline and a distorted vocal sample, creating a tense and mysterious atmosphere. The track then builds up to the chorus, where Hayla’s soulful vocals are layered over a groovy and melodic synth riff. The remix maintains the energy and vibe of the original, but adds a touch of “Gorgon City’s” signature sound: a blend of house, UK garage, and electronic influences.

“Gorgon City” are no strangers to remixing popular songs, having previously reworked tracks by Basement Jaxx, Jess Glynne, Duke Dumont, and more. They are also known for their own original hits, such as “Ready for Your Love”, “Here for You”, “Tell Me It’s True”, and more. They have released two studio albums, Sirens (2014) and Escape (2018), and are currently working on their third album, Olympia, which is set to drop on June 25.

“John Summit” and Hayla are both rising stars in the house music scene.“John Summit” is a Chicago-based DJ and producer who has been making waves with his releases on labels such as Defected, Repopulate Mars, and Solotoko. He has also collaborated with artists such as Lee Foss, MK, and Vintage Culture. Hayla is a London-based singer and songwriter who has lent her vocals to tracks by Low Steppa, Illyus & Barrientos, and Kideko. She has also released her own solo material, such as “Naked” and “Colours”.

The remix of “Where You Are” by “Gorgon City” is out now on Positiva Records. You can listen to it on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, or any other streaming platform of your choice.
