As the year 2022 came to an end, Martin Garrix joined the league of dance music legends such as Alesso and Kaskade who have previously contributed to the soundtrack of a video game. Four months after teaming up with JVKE to create the theme song for Marvel Snap’s new mobile and PC game titled “Hero,” Martin Garrix decided to give it a new twist with a two-for-one remix.
The job was given to Space Ducks, a duo named one of Dancing Astronaut’s Artists to Watch in 2023, who recently collaborated with Garrix on a co-rework of 070 Shake’s “Cocoon.” They teamed up with DubVision, who has previously remixed Garrix’s tracks such as “No Sleep,” “Ocean,” “Higher Ground,” “Gold Skies,” and “Scared To Be Lonely.”
The two reworks injected the original “Hero” track with an animated pace. Space Ducks infused the song with a mix of tech- and bass-house while DubVision explored the darker approach that they’ve become known for on STMPD RCRDS. The remixes offer listeners a fresh take on the original track, showcasing the versatility of the producers involved.
Fans of Garrix and JVKE can stream both “Hero” remixes below and experience the revamped version of the Marvel Snap anthem. With this new project under his belt, it’s clear that Martin Garrix continues to push boundaries and collaborate with talented producers to create fresh and exciting music for fans.
