Bad Bunny’s “Soy Peor,” one of his earliest hits and a 2016 trap anthem that helped establish him as an artist, has become his tenth music video to reach one billion views on YouTube. The song, which Bunny produced himself, peaked at No. 19 on the Hot Latin Songs chart. This milestone achievement is shared among videos where he is a lead artist, featured artist, or collaborator. Bunny’s presence on the platform’s U.S. Top Songs chart includes “Titi Me Preguntó” at No. 4, “Ojitos Lindos” rising to No. 25, and his collaboration with Arcángel, “La Jumpa,” at No. 81. Bunny is ranked No. 2 on the U.S. Top Artists and No. 5 on the Global Top Artists charts.
Bunny’s success has only grown since “Soy Peor,” with four albums – YHLQMDLG, Las Que No Iban a Salir, El Último Tour del Mundo, and Un Verano Sin Ti – all achieving global success. The latter two albums debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making him the only artist with a Spanish-language album to top the chart twice. Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti won the IFPI Global Album Award, making him the first Latin artist to win an IFPI global award. It spent a total of 13 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 and became the first Spanish-language album to be nominated for album of the year at the Grammy Awards.
