The 2023 Grammy Award for Latin Rock or Alternative Album has been given to Rosala’s Motomami. With songs like “Alegora,” “Cimafunk’s “El Alimento,” “Los Aos Salvajes,” “Tinta y Tiempo,” and “Mon Laferte,” the singer’s second album triumphed over other artists’ singles (1940 Carmen).

Rosala received a second Grammy nomination for Best Music Film for her live TikTok performance of Motomami. Album of the Year, Best Alternative Music Album, Best Album Packaging, and Best Engineered Album were the four Latin Grammy Awards that Motomami took home in November.

The Latin Grammy Awards featured performances of “Hentai” and “La Fama” by Rosala. Rosala won a Grammy for Best Latin Rock, Urban, or Alternative Album for her second album, El Mal Querer, released in 2018.

Rosala followed up the March release of Motomami with the deluxe version, Motomami+, which included a few additional tracks and remixes. The newest song from Rosala, “LLYLM,” was released in late January.
