2022 seems to be a big year for comic-book-inspired movies, and it’s not just the Marvel Cinematic Universe that is bringing home successful numbers. DC’s very own “The Batman” scored high Box Office numbers from its opening week.

The Warner Bros. Pictures’ blockbuster starring Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Colin Farrel, and Paul Dano in the lead roles, proved to be a huge success with a total of over 240 million dollars, in revenue, internationally speaking in its opening week.

This puts it at second-best performing movie post-pandemic, right after its competitor – “Spider-man: No Way Home.”
