Minnie Mouse Gets A Makeover

Disney’s very own Minnie Mouse is getting a brand new look, in hopes of becoming more progressive. Disneyland Paris shared the news via its official Twitter page a few days ago, prior to the 30 year anniversary of the park. The full look will be unveiled in March during the women’s march.

The classic character is ditching her red polka-dotted dress for a more androgynous look designed by no other than British designer Stella McCartney. 

“Minnie has always had a special place in my heart. We share the same values, and what I love about Minnie is that she personifies happiness, self-expression, authenticity…plus she has such great style” – McCartney told CNN.
