Kelly Clarkson’s latest “Kellyoke” segment featured a ’60s classic. On Wednesday’s episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Song,” the “American Idol” graduate sang a moving rendition of Tina and Ike Turner’s “River Deep — Mountain High.” Clarkson wore an autumnal dress and danced in place as she performed the 1966 song in front of an ecstatic live audience, backed by her band Y’All and glamorously lighted by blue stage lights.
Clarkson’s breathtaking version of “River Deep — Mountain High” has been hailed as one of the best and most influential rock songs of all time.
