Award show season is not over yet. Of course, not without the award show for TV lovers!
The 73rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards took place on September 19, 2021, at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. There were some big wins for Netflix this year, including two awards for “The Queen’s Gambit,” one of which was for best-limited series.
The most wins of the night went to…drum roll, please. “The Crown.” The Netflix original took home a whopping total of seven awards, including the best actress for the queen herself – Olivia Colman.
Other big winners included the Apple TV+ original comedy-drama series “Ted Lasso,” Evan Peters, “Hacks,” and Michaela Coel.
